Will My Newborn Baby Have Affected Vision By Being Exposed To The Sun For 30 Minutes Or More?
Posted on 10. Nov, 2009 by in Q&A
My aunt is taking care of my baby during the mornings while I’m at school but I was told she exposed my 1 month old baby to the direct sunlight for over 30 minutes around noon. I am really worried that damaged my baby’s eyesight and her skin. Can my baby be affected for being exposed that one time?

Shes fine it wont do anything to her eyes…
Its good for them to go out in the sun.
My doc recomened 30 mins a day no more so ur aunt is doing a good job. And when she turns 6 months u can put baby sun screen on her to protect her skin.
Also my doctor highly recomended that she must wear a sun hat when she is in direct sun to protect her skin also maybe a light long sleve sweater.

direct sunlight is bad for even adults so im guessing its probably worse for a baby.
