White Patch On Babys Neck?

Hiya, I was just washing my 13 month old son in the bath and I noticed that he has a white patch on his neck, about 3mm around. Its smooth and just looks like his normal skin but lighter. He has olive skin and it is fairly noticable….
Anyone know what this is?
I will take him to the Docs on Monday as they are shut over the weekend.

it might just be pigment of the skin difference,totally normal as long as he doesnt have any pain, dont worry,just do what you said take him to docs

Might be a scar, possibly from the hospital when he was born and you havnt noticed. Take him to the doctor to make sure it isnt anything serious.

I’m pretty sure that’s just a birthmark. Nothing to worry about!

Could just be a birth mark, without seeing it it is difficult to say. See what the doctor says but i doubt it is anything to worry about.

probably just a ‘birthmark’. my daughter is olive skinned and has a pale patch like that on her back.
contrary to what the name suggests, ‘birthmarks’ can develop in the first few months of life, you are not necessarily born with them.

my sister was born with white and grayish spots on her back and they just went away as she got older. I wouldnt worry about it but still keep an eye out for changes just in case it .

My daughter is mixed race, has quite dark skin but has this small (about the size of a 5p coin) almost lilly white mark in the middle of her back. had it checked and nothing wrong, I always joke that she has a little of my skin colour on her!!!
Its best you get it checked asap otherwise you will be worried until you do. I am sure everything is ok though. xxxx

i have that on my neck to and you can tell because i have tan skin its just a spot.. people call it a lucky spot.. shouldn’t harm your child at all
