Use a mild soap like J&J.Use luke warm water always and keep the skin dry at all times.Especially diaper area.
Massaging is a great way to bond with ur baby.Use a mild oil , again like J&J would be good.If u wish to use any other oil use a small amount and see if it suits ur baby’s skin.If you wish to use gramflour on the skin make sure that it is not adulterated.( u could grind it at home) Do NOT use oil in the ears.Clean the ears well from outside with dry cloth to make sure no soap/shampoo remains.
Preferably use a diaper only during the night or when traveling since it invariably causes rash in babies. At other times use cloth. In case ur baby develops redness around the area of diaper keep the area clean, dry and exposed to air.It will heal on it’s own.
While traveling , even in car, keep ur baby covered to avoid exposure to UV rays of sunlight. While bathing always wash baby’s head second last so that ur baby does not feel cold and lastly wash the diaper area.Since there are chances he/she could pee while bathed.Use a baby powder to keep the body dry.

Leave it to nature and don’t interfere unless the child has some rashes or skin infection etc. Use some edible oil for massage and also natural products like “Besan” powder to remove the same. Baby soaps too are available in the market which are pH neutral and will protect the baby skin. Never use normal soaps that adults use since it is alkaline pH and detrimental to the baby skin.
After bathing the child you can apply lots of baby powder to avoid rashes being formed and the skin which is peeling too is a natural process and one need not worry. Apart from the usual milk the baby must be give some few milliliters of water everyday. This will keep the baby’s skin moist and supple.

Not much needs to be done a mild soap like Johnson and Johnson is is good.
Wipe the skin using a wash cloth and the soap. You only need to use lotion if the skin is dry. If the baby has patches of skin peeling rub it genlty with the cloth. It can take months for it to fall off.
