We usually put Burts Baby Bee lotion on my son after his bath. We like the Burts because it is all natural and doesn’t have any added chemicals to it. If he has extra dry spots then we use Aquaphor.

Hi there!
I use Shea Butter, It is a brilliant cream, can be a little more expensive but if used regularly, there won’t be any dryness, sore spots, suitable for sensetive skin and can be used on all the family!
I buy it from the body shop!
Check out the site below for the benefits, you won’t regret trying this cream!
Good luck!

My son is 23 so haven’t needed to think about this for him for some time but of course happy memories! My best advice would be to check the web site http://www.ewg.org and look up baby products for a listing of the best ones that are free from or have the least amount of toxic chemicals in them. I have used the site on a lot of occassions and because of the information went looking for a toxic free product line for myself which I did – I personally use one that is completely safe for all skin types and for all ages.. if you go to the site scroll down to the bottom of the first page and click on consumer products in the health column this will take you to safety guide for childrens products.

Since he was born I have used absolutely no products on my baby’s skin and his skin is lovely. I think we can go a bit mad with buying stuff like creams and soaps for babies – they don’t really need them. About the only thing he has had is some sudocrem when he has nappy rash.

Baby lotion, or baby oil when they come out the bath. May use a tiny bit of johnsons baby powder too. I swear by it, and they have the most perfect soft kissable skin. Has to be Johnsons though. I won’t use any other brand.
