she crawling about now so theres dry skin on belly, arms and knees, i’ve used baby oil in the bath and i use baby lotion in the morning when she gets up, but its still there any ideas?

Vaseline does not suffocate skin, it heals skin. It can make their stomachs upset if they ingest enough if it, like using it on chapped lips (it’s a laxative). It’s great for chapped cheeks though.
